The National Women's Soccer League has unveiled a significant new regulation created to enable its teams to compete on the global stage for premier talent. Dubbed the "High Impact Player Rule," this provision lets teams to exceed the association's salary cap by a maximum of $1 million expressly to lure and keep high-profile players.

Aimed at Keeping Crucial Talent
