"Now I want to say sorry to all the supporters for my behavior when I was taken off in the derby," Vinicius shared on X.

"In the same way as I have previously expressed during this morning's session, I wish to say sorry once more to my teammates, the team, and the leadership.

"At times passion gets the better of me because I always want to triumph and support my side. My determined nature comes from the affection I feel for this team and all it stands for."
